Food and music: the language of the city

The food here in the city is absolutely amazing. Fresh shrimp and oysters. Two things I would never have chosen to eat back home. The friendly atmosphere and eclectic styles of music amplified the taste that satisfied my palate. Life is good here in the city. They call it the big easy. And for a reason. Food is an expressionist art form. Prepared with such grace and ease. The presentation is beautiful. The aromas are breathtaking.

Original seasonings, sauces, and preparation techniques all from different parts of the world.

The influence of the Germans, Indians, French and west Africans integrate to make some of the best food I have ever experienced. Everyone should get the opportunity to try this cuisine. It's something so different, so tasty, so satisfying.

From beneigts and chickory coffee, to muffalino's and gelato. The big easy has something for everyone.
