New Orleans: a magical city

Urban settings can be visualized as busy and fast paced. They can be referred to as concrete jungles of sorts. The streets are more than likely dirty, lacking the necessary green landscape people need to have in their lives. The homeless people begging for money is a common stereotypical picture of an urban setting. Cars honking, traffic for miles, and very little signs of any significant greenery can be used to describe what an urban setting ensues.

New Orleans is a city full of life and culture. Its not your typical urban setting. The movie  "The Princess and the Frog" by Disney, captures the very essence that makes up what New Orleans was and has become. The magical ambiance of the voo doo masters can be felt as you walk the streets of New Orleans. The diversity of music, people and food appear to divide themselves from the rest of the country. New Orleans has a style all its own, rich with an eclectic variety of foods, music, and people of all walks of life. Colorful costumes come to mind as jazz music is played soulfully in the back ground. To experience the visual proprieties, to hear the joy in the music that is being projected throughout the streets and the smell and taste of the southern style food that is always readily available, is one that should never be forgotten.
